74 and Counting

I've heard people say " if I knew I was going to live so long I would have taken better care of everything." Ain't it the Truth! Personally I think I have done OK with most of my life. Somehow I have squeeked by the tough spots, and landed in the sweetest part of my life. Maybe that's all anyone can do - their best in each moment.

In 5 more days I will celebrate my 75th birthday. One day at a time the years have rolled by. My plan has always been to be a crusader into my 80s, and my current crusade is for women's equity and education through AAUW. Judging by the others in our branch, 80 is an easy target. What an inspiring group of women.

My plan for this blog is to keep track of my 75th year in ways that inspire me to live a more meaningful life. It would be nice if others choose to read what I write that would be fine. Or not.

Life is good and every day is Christmas!! A gift to be opened with delight. I'm ready.
